Never has an icon been more apt than the one accompanying this thread! Jack really must save Chloe! How many times has she sacrificed herself for him? Time for him to repay the favour. Im really scared for her though being at the mercy of the writers as well as Cheng.

I am very stressed after seeing it. I like that they are focusing on Chloe, but wish Jack was more overtly worried about her. I did like the back and forth with Jack when he told the other agent not to worry about it. I felt like maybe that was Jack trying to keep his emotions in check. I hope. To be fair he also does not know she is in trouble. I feel Adrian getting shot might bode well for Chloe's survival. They had a dramatic death already and it does not appear he is interested in hurting Chloe. Jack better save her. I had wondered about the back story. I had thought that maybe the accident was random, and she just thought it was related to her. That kind of absolves Jack a little, but she still went to jail for him, which I would like to thank her for. Also, ticks me off that he even suspects her a little bit of being involved. I am glad he said that about his gut feeling. It is in his nature to be suspicious. He did interrogate Audrey. At the end, I am hoping for Chloe's survival. Jack at least acknowledging how much he cares for her, and Jack getting them both pardoned. That would be ideal. And of course him confessing their undying love for her.

However, I am trying to prepare myself for an ending with Chloe dead or in jail, jack and Audrey together and happy, and worst of all Jack reuniting w/ Kim and he, Audrey, and Kim walk off into the sunset. I will never watch again of that is the way it goes down.

I agree with you completely. I think losing Chloe would be a massive shot in the foot by the producers. Even if they don't think 24 will return it would taint the memory of the whole 9 seasons to kill off such an iconic character. Also they thought season8 was the last one but it wasn't so it could come back for season 10 and would be unthinkable without Chloe.
